This deco inspired project features many unusual and custom pieces.  The large, custom dining table easily seats ten.  The base is an Italian marble in shades of purple and gray.  The unusual shape of the chair's bottom edge is repeated in the shape of the cornices on the windows.  The swirls of the area rug and its unique shape add a touch of whimsy.  Contemporary art stands out against a soft mauve color on the wall.  Below the chair rail is a marble wall covering in the same tones as the table base.

The adjacent living room continues the design scheme in both color palette as well as curvilinear shapes.  A custom area rug plays up the lines of the deco armchairs.  The large sectional provides maximum seating for entertaining.  A hand painted folding screen created by Barbara, adds drama in the corner.  The design flows effortlessly from room to room.
