Outside Recreation 

 

 

   

This project's challenge was how to best design a large deck that provided for several activities:  a deck for sun bathing and entertaining, an enclosed dining area, and a hot tub.  The solution was a multi-level design that complimented the look and feel of the main house so well that it appears to have been built at the same time.  The deck's layout also totally integrated the landscaping.  For example, the picture below (right) shows the hot tub in it's own structure tucked next to a tree and overlooking a pond.  The choice of a cable railing system instead of the conventional pickets kept the garden views unobstructed.  The deck's design as a whole provides a place for endless hours of enjoyment!
