The office space in this building acts as a screen to the loading docks for the warehouse in order to preserve an aesthetic street front.

In order to maintain maximum flexibility for rental purposes of the office space, the entrances were external to both floors, yet sheltered from weather conditions.  Additionally these functional entrances have become a sculptural element to the building's exterior.
